Setup Wizard

The Webrino Setup Wizard automatically starts when the administrator of a new installation of Webrino logs into the system. The administrator must complete all the steps in the Wizard before other users of Webrino can start using the software. Completing all the steps in this Wizard doesn't take more than 20 minutes if the following information is readily available at hand. It is recommended that the administrator collect all this information and finish filling in the information in the Setup Wizard in one shot:

  1. Your business details: Your organization's name, address, primary contact email & jurisdiction of main operation (city, state, country, zip).
  2. Bank details: Bank name, address and account number; optional IFSC, MICR and SWIFT codes
  3. Tax details: PAN number (or tax-payer identification number), service tax ID (if applicable), VAT (if applicable), central & state sales tax (if applicable).
  4. Webrino Users: Names & email addresses of all the users (up to 5) that will be using Webrino (users can be added at a later stage too).

Step 1: Welcome

This is the first screen you will see when you log into a new installation of Webrino for the very first time. The Wizard will not allow users to log in and start using Webrino without completing all 5 steps. To go to Step 2, click on the "Next >" button:

The Company Logo can be changed using the Logo Wizard after the Setup Wizard has been completed by the administrator.

Step 2: Bank Info

A Bank Account must be entered on this step to proceed further. Enter the main bank account that your business operates:

  • Bank Name: Full name of the bank. This is reflected in outgoing invoices to receive payments through bank transfers.
  • Bank Address: Full address of the bank.
  • Bank Account: The bank account number for your business for your customers to make payments to.
  • IFSC, MICR and SWIFT Codes: These are optional fields. If entered, they will appear on outgoing invoices or proforma invoices for your customers to easily make payments as they have all the required bank transfer information at hand.

If your business operates more than one bank account, additional bank accounts can be entered by visiting Financial Accounts.

Step 3: Tax Info

Webrino comes built with the India Value Added Tax (VAT) module. The tax related information here primary relates to the Indian taxation system, however tax information is more-or-less similar in many parts of the world (tax identification number, sales or service tax identification number, state level tax identification number etc.). Please fill in the following information on this step:

  • Business PAN: This is where you need to fill in your business' Permanent Account Number issued by the Government of India. For other jurisdictions, please fill in your national tax identification number issued to your business from your country's government.
  • Service Tax ID: If your business collects service tax, please fill in the government issued service tax identifier here.
  • TIN (VAT) Registration: If your business collects sales tax, please fill in the India government issued TIN here. For other jurisdictions, please fill in your national sales tax or VAT identification number issued to your business from your country's government.
  • Central Sales Tax ID and State Sales Tax ID: Applicable to Indian business that are registered before 2007 and have not yet upgraded or received their TIN or national Service Tax ID.

Step 4: Sales & Purchase Terms


Webrino comes pre-defined with sales & purchase terms that can be overridden to suit your Business needs. These terms can be completely customized during setup to meet the various requirements of your business. These terms once customized, are by default added to any sales & purchases quotations / orders that are made using Webrino. Please customize the following information in this step:

  • Term Validity:  This is where you fill in the validity of a quotation or order that will be made an issued or recieved
  • Terms Shipping: This is where you choose the shipping terms that are applicable to your busines
  1. CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight) - A trade term requiring the seller to arrange for the carriage of goods by sea to a port of destination, and provide the buyer with the documents necessary to obtain the goods from the carrier.
  2. C&F (Cost & Freight) - Term of sale signifying that the price invoiced or quoted by a seller for a shipment does not including insurance charges, but includes a named port of destination.
  3. FOB - (Free On Board) - A trade term requiring the seller to deliver goods on board a vessel designated by the buyer. The seller fulfills its obligations to deliver when the goods have passed over the ship's rail. 
  • Terms Taxes - This is where you fill in the details of the tax terms
  • Terms Quotation - This is where you fill in the details of specifics of quotation type
  • Terms Delivery - This is where you fill in the details of specifics of delivery 
  • Terms Price - This is where you fill in the details of specifics of price
  • Terms Payment - This is where you fill in the details of specifics of Payment terms
  • Terms Warranty - This is where you fill in the details of specifics of Warranty terms
  • Terms Other - This is where you fill in any other details pertaining to sales & purchase

Step 5: Done

This is the final step that tells you how to change Webrino's System Configuration from the Administration menu. You can click on "Close this Wizard" which will take you to the Webrino dashboard.
